Our mission is to ensure that the voices of retired independent workers are heard at the highest levels of social, political, and health administration, while fostering a community that promotes healthy aging and social connection.

Our Core Pillars of Action

Under our classification as a Professional Organization (NAF 94.12Z), the UNIRC Federation focuses on four vital areas of service:

  • National Coordination and Advocacy: We gather the concerns and proposals of retired professionals to support their claims before social and political institutions. We ensure fair representation in organizations that influence the lives of retirees.

  • Health and “Aging Well” Initiatives: We encourage and support our regional branches in organizing health information sessions. These programs focus on preventative healthcare, sanitary information, and social updates relevant to the retirement environment.

  • Combatting Social Isolation: One of our primary goals is to break the cycle of isolation. Through festive gatherings, informational meetings, and social outings, we maintain the friendly bonds and professional networks that our members built during their active careers.

  • Consultancy and Representation: We act as a specialized intermediary, providing retirees with a structured platform to engage with health and social welfare systems.

Our Values: Solidarity, Experience, and Protection

At UNIRC, we believe that retirement should be a period of active engagement and security. We leverage the decades of experience held by our members—former independent business owners and commercial professionals—to build a stronger social safety net. By providing clear information and collective representation, we protect the interests and the well-being of those who have spent their lives contributing to the economic vitality of France.
